Student-Centric
At the heart of our student-centric curriculum are “learning pods”: custom-made study rooms, where students meet daily to engage with the curriculum and learning activities.
All pods include:
- A widescreen TV, for watching content
- Whiteboard and glass walls, for note-taking or anatomical diagramming
- Portable charging “blocks”, whiteboard markers, and other relevant materials

Early-on Clinical Experiences
Before a student’s clinical years, they can participate in:
- Graded OSCEs (objective structured clinical examinations)
- Administering services at local health fairs
- Providing care (under faculty supervision) to underserved populations at the United Way’s Volunteer Care Clinic in Provo
- Offering comprehensive health screenings to Provo elementary-aged children through Noorda-COM’s “Noorda CARES” health outreach program
High-Tech Campus
Study the osteopathic philosophy in our brand-new building, featuring a customizable OMM lab, natural light study spaces, a Simulation Center, and many other educational enhancements. Once enrolled, you’ll enjoy technology integrated into your curriculum with our handheld ultrasound class and (outside of rotations) practice your clinical skills with task trainers, professional actors, and life-sized patient simulators.
Frequent Research Opportunities
You’ll start engaging in research projects during your first year! Over the next few years, you’ll receive experience in literature reviews, research methodologies, data collection, data analysis, and lab work; technical writing, abstract creation, grant writing, and research presentation.
