Conflict of Interest Policy
Conflict of Interest Policy
All Board members, full-time employees, and credentialed instructional staff shall disclose and avoid actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that could impair, or appear to impair, their independent and unbiased judgment in carrying out their responsibilities to Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine (Noorda-COM).
A conflict of interest may arise when an individual, or a member of the individual’s immediate family, has a financial or other personal interest that could influence, or reasonably appear to influence, the individual’s judgment or participation in a matter before Noorda-COM.
By virtue of their appointment, Trustees appointed by the Parent Corporation or Management Corporation shall not be considered to have a conflict of interest solely because of their relationship with the respective corporation.
